Who We Are

Our clinic is in Midland, Texas, and is headed by Steve Hankinson. We provide services to adults and children in the Permian Basin area. We are a privately-owned optometry clinic with two highly skilled optometrists.

Our team commits to building long-lasting relationships with our patients, while providing the highest quality optometry services. Our relationships with our patients allow us to be hands-on when treating their eye conditions.

Dr. Steve Hankinson is a very dedicated eye doctor. He received his degree in 1984 from The University of Houston College of Optometry, adding his Texas therapeutic optometric / glaucoma certification later. He’s a lifelong Midland resident so not only is he dedicated to his profession but also to the people of Midland. His practice includes family, glaucoma, contact lens, as well as other eye related problems. He enjoys reading, golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Madlyn W. Babb is a native West Texan. After receiving an Optometry degree at the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2005, she made her way back west. She holds licenses in Therapeutic and Glaucoma specialties. Having four children of her own she understands the importance of making her patients comfortable during an exam. She enjoys the miracles of family life, sunshine and encountering others on this journey called life.
